ITTA BENA -- Mississippi Valley State fans will get their first peek at the men's and women's basketball team Thursday night during "A Night of Champions" at the Harrison HPER Complex on the MVSU campus. 

An array of activities are set up for the event, which is slated to tip off at 9 p.m.

There will be a 3-point contest, Coaches Challenge (men's coaching staff vs. women's coaching staff), and fans will get a chance to compete against the Delta Devil and Devilette players. Also, the men's and women's team will face off against each other.

Free prizes will be given out during the event.

The event is free to the public.

Both MVSU teams are coming off SWAC regular season championships while the Delta Devils also claimed a SWAC Tournament title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament, their fifth in school history.
