Robertson named SWAC Player of the Week

ITTA BENA -- Mississippi Valley State senior infielder Alexandria Robertson has been named SWAC Player of the Week.

In six games last week, the Cedar Park, Texas native hit five homeruns -- including two grandslams -- and a double with 15 RBIs. Her batting average during the week was .524 and she scored nine runs against Texas College, Grambling State, Prairie View, Southern, Texas Southern and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Robertson hit grand slams against Grambling State and Prairie View. She also went 3-for-4 against Southern at the SWAC Round-Up in Longview, Texas.
