ITTA BENA -- Mississippi Valley State has added a new name to its 2013 baseball signing class with the addition of outfielder Dylan Castoria of Northwest Mississippi Community College.
The Olive Branch native currently leads the Rangers in batting average (.418), hits (48), homeruns (4) and steals (18).
"We are so excited to have signed such a good and outstanding young man to next year's program." said MVSU head coach Doug Shanks said. "I believe he is one of the most outstanding hitters that I have ever signed."
Castoria joins a signing class that also includes Tre Hobbs of Riverside High School (Avon, Miss.) and Xzavier Franklin and Terrance Steele from East Central Community College.
