DECATUR, Ala. -- The Mississippi Valley State softball team now knows who it will face when the 2013 SWAC Softball Tournament starts on Wednesday.

The Devilettes (20-27) will face Prairie View A&M Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Wilson Morgan Park in Decatur, Ala. The winner of that game will face either Texas Southern or Alcorn State Thursday at 3:30 p.m.

The championship game is slated for Saturday at 2 p.m. and it will be shown live on ESPN3.com and tape-delayed at 9 p.m. on ESPNU.

MVSU enters the tournament as a No. 2 seed after continued rain forced MVSU and Alabama State to cancel its regular season-ending doubleheader. The pair of games counted as forfeits for the Devilettes.
