ITTA BENA -- The Mississippi Valley State softball team is riding a three-game win streak heading in Tuesday's showdown against in-state opponent Mississippi State. The first pitch is set for 6 p.m. at the MVSU Softball Complex.

MVSU, who is coming off a three game sweep over Alcorn State, will face a Bulldog team that has won its last six games and currently holds a 28-10 record.

The Devilettes last faced MSU on May 18, 2013 in Mobile, Ala. in the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs held off the Devilettes 2-1 to end MVSU's season.
