Box Score FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Arkansas defeated the Mississippi Valley State women's basketball team 99-42 Wednesday night at Bud Walton Arena, ending the Devilettes two-game win streak.
A'Shanti Weathers paced MVSU (3-6) with nine points on 4-of-10 shots to go with a team-high five rebounds. Jasmyne Sanders, Alia Frank and Derita Silas chipped in six points each.
Arkansas held the edge throughout the game and went into hafltime with a 49-20 advantage.
The Devilettes shot 25.8 percent from the field and made 5-of-23 three-pointers. Quistelle Williams led Arkansas with 18 points.
MVSU will be off until Dec. 29 when they travel to Atlanta to compete in the Georgia State Tournament. The Devilettes will face Georgia State Dec. 29 at 3 p.m. EST.
