ITTA BENA -- The Mississippi Valley State women's basketball team will be back at home Saturday when the Devilettes host Talladega College.
The game is set for 3 p.m. at the Harrison HPER Complex. Admission is free.
MVSU (1-5) is coming off a narrow 64-57 loss at Kansas State. Meanwhile, Talladega (3-3) fell 83-51 Mondy against Freed-Hardeman.
Frank taking charge
MVSU's Alia Frank has scored in double-figures in all but one game this season. The senior from Natchez is averaging 12.2 points (4th in the SWAC) and six rebounds per game (5th in the SWAC). She's also shooting 79 percent from the free throw line (5th in the SWAC).
Sanders guiding the MVSU offense
Joncyee Sanders, a transfer from Delta State, is leading the SWAC in both three-point percentage (60 percent) and assists (6.0 per game). She had a season-high 10 assists at Ole Miss on Nov. 27.

The Devilettes are ranked first in the SWAC in points per game (58.7), third in field goal percentage (37.4) and second in three-point field goal percentage (33.7).
