ITTA BENA -- The Mississippi Valley State Athletics Department has joined forces with Shoney's of Greenwood to help promote Delta Devil football for the 2012 season.

Shoney's will sponsor "MVSU Football Media Monday's" at its restaurant in Greenwood beginning Aug. 27 at 11:30 a.m. The event is open to all media.

It will be held each Monday at the same time.

The media is asked to send requests to kcmister@mvsu.edu to interview coaches and/or players during any other time during the season.

The Delta Devils open the season Sept. 1 at home against Concordia College at 5 p.m.
