In the bottom of the 10th, two MVSU players struck out and Brittany Lily was caught at third base.
Alicia Lorenz (7-14) pitched the entire game for the Devilettes. She gave up one earned run on eight hits with five strikeouts.
Memphis' Ellen Roberts (12-19) gave up one hit with a pair of strikeouts in two innings of work.
