Devilettes eliminated after 7-3 loss to Lady Hornets

DECATUR, Ala. --- For the first time since 2010, the Mississippi Valley State University Devilettes season ended without a trip to the conference tournament finals. A 7-3 loss to the Lady Hornets of Alabama State University ended Mississippi Valley's 2015 campaign.

ASU took a 1-0 lead early in the contest, however it was the top of the third that the tide appeared to turn in their favor. It was during that inning, the Lady Hornets scored their final six runs.
 
The Devilettes began to rally back, scoring three runs on three hits in the fifth; however they were unable to overtake Alabama State.
