CONWAY, Ark. --- The Mississippi Valley State University women's soccer team fell 5-2 to the Bears of the University of Central Arkansas.

MVSU (2-5-0) were held scoreless during the first half, however defensively, the Devilettes only allowed one goal during the half.
The second half Mississippi Valley conceded four goals to Central Arkansas. MVSU's first goal came during the 75
th minute by Nykosi Simmons. Scoring wrapped for the contest at the 82:26 mark on a goal by Mariana Balbao. Laadi Issaka is credited with the assist.

Rita Gyasi recorded eight saves, three during the first half and five during the second.

Several Devilettes recorded shots, with Issaka tallying six shots and two on target. Simmons recorded four shots and three on goal. Heather Craddock recorded two shots, both on target. Ernestina Abambila, Haley Hendricks and Balbao each recorded one shot.
