Softball Falters Against Mississippi State

STARKVILLE, Miss. – (Softball) Mississippi Valley wrapped up their week with a trip down Highway 82, to face the Lady Bulldogs of Mississippi State. MSU took the contest 8-0 in six innings.

The Lady Bulldogs scored their first run in the bottom of the first inning, to take a 1-0 lead. In the second, Mississippi State scored five runs, extending their lead.

MSU scored two runs in the sixth, to end the contest.

The Devilettes finished with four hits and one error.

Chandler Ellis received the loss in the winner's circle.
