In game two the clouds got thicker over the diamond, yet the contest rolled on. The Lady Bulldogs took a huge lead in the bottom of the first inning by scoring six runs.
In the second, Mississippi State scored their final four runs.

Neither team was able to kick their offense up for the remaining innings and because the Devilettes were unable to score, the contest ended in five.

Mississippi Valley will face the University of Nebraska at Omaha at 10:00 am.
