Keisha White Becomes the Fifth 2020 Signee for MVSU Softball

Itta Bena, Miss.- The Mississippi Valley Devilettes softball program added another standout student-athlete to their 2020 Signing Class.

Keisha White is a transfer student from North Carolina State University, who will be joining an already stacked signing class that will look to be the finishing pieces the team will need to get back to the top of the conference.

Coach Smith and his staff would like to thank the Office of Admissions and the Valley Family for their continued support during the recruiting process.

Honors Diploma; Honors Roll 2016-2020, ELP (Extended Learning Program) Certificate, CTE Certificate.

Why did you choose to come to Mississippi Valley State University?
I chose Mississippi Valley State University because I love the diversity, I connect with Coach Smith very well and feel comfortable being my own individual person and athlete. The softball team shares the same values I was raised on and it makes it easier for me to fit in. The academic path I'll be put on is one of the most advanced and benefiting for my career path.

What does it mean to you to be a Devilette?
To fit into a family that not only relates with cultural background but shares the same values with academics and athletics. Being able to fit in physically and mentally is a big part of why I value being a Devilette.
