Itta Bena, Miss.- The Mississippi Valley State women's basketball team come up short to the Lady Braves of Alcorn State by a score of 68-53 on the campus of Alcorn State on Saturday evening.

How It Happened

• Zakiya Mahoney scored a team high for the Devilettes with 19 points to go along with her seven rebounds and one steal.
• Da'Sha McGloster and Annya Moss bot ended the game with nine points respectively.
• Ronni Williams finished with six points and four rebounds.
• MVSU shot 46.3 percent (19-41) from the field, 40 percent (4-10) from the three-point line, and 37.9 percent (11-29) at the charity stripe.
