Mississippi Valley State Top Performers
Â
- Contrary to the previous recap following the Alabama A&M match, after further research, we have discovered that Friday's game at AAMU was not McKenzie McCarthy's first career shutout, but her third, as the website's stats were missing a few contests. Therefore, McCarthy pitched her FOURTH career shutout in her final collegiate appearance, holding the Lady Braves without a score while facing 25 shots and corralling eight saves.
Â
- Valley State was not able to place a shot on-target in the afternoon clash, however, Juliette Charriez notched her first multi-shot day of her MVSU debut season while Olujede Bridgewater contributed her fifth shot of 2022 as well.
The 2022 women's soccer season has officially ended.
