ITTA BENA, Miss. -Â The Mississippi Valley State Devilettes (2-22, 0-13 SWAC) comes up short to the Alabama State Lady Hornets (11-12, 8-4 SWAC) in the final seconds of the contest on Monday evening, 66-61, inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex.
Kerrigan Johnson was the leading scorer for the Devilettes with 14 points. In addition to her game, she collected four assists, three rebounds, and a steal.Â
Zaria Harleaux recorded a double-double perfect with 12 points and 11 rebounds.Â
Krisen Hunt contributed 11 points to the scoreboard for the Devilettes. She also recorded six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.Â
Anjanae Mueck defended the inside with five blocks, five blocks, and three steals to keep MVSU in the game. She added eight points for MVSU against ASU.Â
