Despite falling behind, Liana Bryant led the charge offensively for MVSU, scoring a goal in the 83rd minute, her ninth of the season. The team showed consistent offensive pressure with 13 total shots, 8 on target, keeping the Grambling defense on their toes. Goalkeeper Sydney Whitten also had a strong showing with 8 saves, showcasing her skill in the final game.
