Marshall Leads Both Sides of the Ball at Mercer

 
MACON, Ga. – The Mississippi Valley State University women's basketball program's defense held the Bears to its lowest points allowed through the first nine games, but the offense could not capitalize as the Devilettes fell 66-43.

  • Sydnei Marshall was the lone visitor to hit double-figures, scoring a team-best ten points via a season-high four buckets and her first two career three-pointers while also tying for the game's most steals at four.
 
  • Ariel Jefferson was the rebounding queen with seven, making a 2025-most four free throws to account for half of her eight points.
 
  • Jaeda Murphy was solid in three phases, putting together nine points, five boards, and a Devilettes-high five assists.
