Itta Bena, Miss. - Mississippi Valley State Athletics prepares for a full slate of Southwestern Athletic Conference competition and tournament play as the Delta Devils and Devilettes take the court, track, and field throughout the week. From conference basketball matchups inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex to championship track competition in Birmingham and softball action in Montgomery, Valley teams continue to compete with pride across the region.

Men's tennis opens the week on Monday, February 16, facing Incarnate Word at 10:00 a.m. in Jackson, Mississippi. Later that evening, men's basketball travels to Montgomery, Alabama, for a 6:00 p.m. conference contest against Alabama State, as the Delta Devils continue their push in SWAC play.

Thursday, February 19 brings a doubleheader inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex in Itta Bena. Women's basketball tips off at 5:30 p.m. against Prairie View A&M, followed by the men's matchup at 7:30 p.m. Both contests carry conference implications as Valley looks to defend its home court.

On Friday, February 20, women's tennis meets Grambling State at 10:00 a.m. in Greenville, Mississippi. Softball begins play in the HBCU Celebration Classic in Montgomery, Alabama, opening the day against Alcorn State at 11:30 a.m. before returning to the diamond at 4:30 p.m. to face Grambling State.

Championship season begins for Valley track and field on Saturday, February 21, as both the men's and women's programs compete in the Indoor SWAC Championships in Birmingham, Alabama. Competition continues through Sunday, February 22, with conference titles on the line.

Softball continues tournament play Saturday with matchups against Miles at 9:00 a.m. and Bluefield State at 2:00 p.m. in Montgomery. Back in Itta Bena, women's basketball hosts Texas Southern at 3:00 p.m., followed by the men's contest at 5:00 p.m., closing out a key weekend of conference action at home.

The week concludes Sunday with the final day of the Indoor SWAC Championships in Birmingham and softball wrapping up the HBCU Celebration Classic against Lincoln at 10:00 a.m. in Montgomery.
