Itta Bena, Miss. - The Mississippi Valley State University Department of Athletics continues Southwestern Athletic Conference competition and non-conference baseball action with a full slate of road contests this week. The Delta Devils will travel across Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, and Mississippi as basketball programs continue conference play and baseball opens another stretch of early-season competition.

Valley's women's and men's basketball programs begin the week with a road trip to Grambling, Louisiana to face Grambling State. The women tip off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.

The Delta Devils baseball team remains on the road for multiple midweek and weekend contests.

Valley will face Jacksonville State in a two-game midweek set beginning Tuesday, February 24 at 4:00 p.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. first pitch on Wednesday, February 25 in Jacksonville, Alabama.

Conference action resumes Friday when the Delta Devils travel to Jackson, Mississippi to take on UNC Asheville at 2:00 p.m. Valley remains in Jackson on Saturday, February 28 for a matchup against Jackson State, with first pitch to be announced.

The weekend concludes March 1 as the Delta Devils face Alcorn State at 2:00 p.m. in Jackson.

Conference play continues Saturday, February 28 when Valley travels to Pine Bluff, Arkansas to take on Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The women are scheduled to tip at 3:00 p.m., followed by the men at 5:00 p.m.

Both programs continue to compete for postseason positioning as the SWAC regular season nears its conclusion.
