Itta Bena, Miss. - Mississippi Valley State Athletics continues a busy week of competition as the Delta Devils compete across tennis, softball, and baseball action.

Valley State tennis will open the week on Wednesday as the Delta Devils travel to Birmingham, Alabama to face UAB. The men's and women's tennis teams are scheduled to begin play at 10 a.m. as they look to continue building momentum during the spring season.

Softball returns home midweek as the Delta Devils host Arkansas-Pine Bluff for a non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday at the MVSU Softball Field. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 1 p.m. as Valley State welcomes the Golden Lions for a pair of contests.

Following Wednesday's matchup, the Delta Devils will shift their focus back to Southwestern Athletic Conference play as they host Alabama A&M in a weekend series. The two teams will open the series on Friday before concluding the conference matchup on Saturday in Itta Bena.

On the baseball diamond, Mississippi Valley State will hit the road for a conference series as the Delta Devils travel to Houston, Texas to face Texas Southern. Valley State and the Tigers will meet in a three-game SWAC series over the weekend as both teams continue conference play.
