ITTA BENA / LORMAN, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University baseball and softball programs will both have their weekend series' moved up from Friday / Saturday to Wednesday / Thursday due to expected inclement weather in the Magnolia State for Easter weekend.
 
Softball will now host the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats for a doubleheader on Wednesday at 2 and 4 p.m. with a single game on Thursday beginning at 11 a.m. over on the MVSU Softball Field.
 
Baseball's previously scheduled home contest with the Rust College Bearcats has officially been cancelled with the Diamond Devils traveling to Alcorn for a twin bill against the Braves on Wednesday (1 / 4 p.m.) followed by a noon first pitch on Thursday.
