- Hailey Akers provided the lone multi-hit showing of game one, going 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, scoring a run and driving in one of the squad's two RBIs.

- The other ribbie came off the bat of Devyn Dotson as she tried to ignite a seventh inning rally.

- Michelle Diaz reached twice via a base knock and a free pass, touching the dish once as well whereas Madison Wesley was another Devil to get aboard safely more than once, also walking and singling.

- Ashtyn Clark cracked the only extra-base hit in the opener with a double and Sheridan Kynard swiped her 13th stolen base in 14 attempts.

- Kynard was the star of the show in the nightcap, posting a perfect 3-for-3 outing in the batter's box.

- Clark contributed both a pinch-hit single as well as two strikeouts over a pair of frames in the circle.
