Itta Bena, Miss. - Mississippi Valley State University Athletics has announced a change in leadership for the Delta Devils softball program.

"We thank Coach Taliyah Riddick-Waters for her contributions to our softball program and wish her well in her future endeavors," said Dr. Alecia Shields-Gadson, Director of Athletics. "This realignment reflects a strategic vision that allows us to reset competitive expectations and create more opportunities for students to compete, thrive and elevate MVSU softball back to its competitive standards."

"Mississippi Valley State University is deeply invested in the growth and competitiveness of all our athletic programs. We are unwavering in our goal to build a winning culture that prepares our student-athletes for success on the field and in life" added Dr. Gadson.

A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
