THE DELTA | Mississippi Valley State Athletics returns home for a week of action as volleyball welcomes Dillard on Wednesday, Sept. 16, and football opens its home slate against Delta State on Saturday, Sept. 19, in the Delta Classic powered by CB&S Bank.

Volleyball begins the week with a 4 p.m. matchup against Dillard inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex. Fans are encouraged to support the Delta Devils and bring the energy for an afternoon of volleyball on their home floor.

The excitement continues Saturday when Mississippi Valley State football welcomes Delta State to Rice-Totten Stadium at Chuck Prophet Field for a 6 p.m. kickoff. The matchup marks the Delta Devils' first home contest of the 2026 season.

The Delta Classic powered by CB&S Bank will feature a "White Out" theme, with all fans encouraged to wear white and fill the stands in support of the Delta Devils. Students, alumni and supporters throughout the Mississippi Delta are invited to help create an electric atmosphere as football returns to The Valley.
