THE DELTA | A busy week awaits Mississippi Valley State Athletics as volleyball hosts three conference opponents, football returns home to face Prairie View A&M, and the men's and women's tennis and cross-country teams compete in Jackson, Miss.

Volleyball opens the week Wednesday, Sept. 30, welcoming Jackson State to the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex for a 6 p.m. matchup. The Delta Devils continue their home stretch Friday, Oct. 2, against Florida A&M at 6 p.m., before closing the week Sunday, Oct. 4, against Bethune-Cookman at noon.

The men's and women's tennis programs head to Jackson for the ITA SWAC Conference Masters on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2–3. The two-day event provides another opportunity for the Delta Devils to compete against conference opposition during the fall season.

Saturday's schedule also features the men's and women's cross-country teams at the Belhaven Invitational in Jackson as they continue their fall campaign.

Back in Itta Bena, Mississippi Valley State football welcomes Prairie View A&M to Rice-Totten Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 3. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. as the Delta Devils return to their home field for Southwestern Athletic Conference action.

Students, alumni and fans are encouraged to bring their Valley pride throughout the week, filling the HPER Complex and Rice-Totten Stadium while supporting the Delta Devils competing in Jackson.
