Latasha “Tasha” Thomas-Davis is in her 11th year as assistant women’s basketball coach for Mississippi Valley State University. Her coaching career began in September 2004, when head women’s basketball coach Nate Kilbert recommended his former pupil for his newly-created position. A native of Charleston, Miss., Thomas-Davis played at Mississippi Valley State from 1999 to 2003. A combo guard/forward for the Devilettes, she was named the team’s Freshman of the Year in 1999-2000.
