Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Mississippi Valley State women's soccer team ended Friday's game at Arkansas-Pine Bluff deadlocked at 0 and then traveled to Grambling State on Sunday to defeat the Tigers 1-0.

In Friday's game at UAPB, MVSU got off 16 shots compared to UAPB's 12, but neither team was able to notch a goal in regulation or both overtime periods.

On Sunday, Nykosi Simmons scored the lone goal on a header by way of an assist from Bianca Vigliante.

MVSU goalkeeper Shelby Willocks had seven saves over the weekend, three against UAPB and four at Grambling State.

The Devilettes (5-8-2) have two games remaining on its schedule. They'll travel to Alabama State on Friday and Alabama A&M on Sunday.
