Box Score ITTA BENA -- Sunday was an all around good day for the Mississippi Valley State women's soccer team.

The Devilettes recognized their three seniors prior to their match against Southern. Then proceeded to defeat the Lady Jaguars 2-1 in the second overtime thanks to a game-winning goal by Josee Primeau at the 102nd minute.

The win keeps the Devilettes (2-8-1, 2-0-1 SWAC) undefeated in conference action.

During regulation, MVSU tied the game at 1 using a goal by Shanesse Spratt, her second of the season.

MVSU had 14 shots on the day while Southern only got one shot off.

Valley honored its three seniors (Brooke Feikert, Kayla Boyd and Kristin Swanson) prior to the game as a part of Family & Senior Weekend.

The Devilettes will be back at home Friday when they host Texas Southern at 6 p.m..
