Box Score OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss rolled to a 93-57 win over Mississippi Valley State in the season opener.

Davon Usher led MVSU with 19 points on 5-of-17 shots from the field. He finished 7-of-8 from the free throw line.

Matt Smith added six points and 11 rebounds for the Delta Devils.

Marshall Henderson led Ole Miss with 22 points. He finished 5-of-11 from behind the arch. 

MVSU held its largest lead (4 points) within the first two minutes of the game, but never gained it back.

The Delta Devils shot 21.4 percent in the first half and 32.2 percent for the game. They converted five of 21 three-pointers and finished 14-of-24 from the free throw line.

Cameron Dobbs came off the bench late for Valley to score eight points, six of those coming on two shots from behind the arch.
