Box Score PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- Prairie View's offensive firepower was too much for Missisippi Valley State on Saturday as the Panthers defeated the Delta Devils, 51-14.
The Panthers used a two quarterback system to throw for 319 yards and two touchdowns while Prairie View added another 213 yards on the ground.
It marked the Delta Devils' second consecutive loss.
Valley tied the game at 7 early in the second quarter on a 7-yard TD run by Patrick Durr. But that would be as close as the Delta Devils would get, as the Panthers kept the Delta Devils out of the endzone until the fourth quarter.
Patrick Ivy scored Valley's final TD on a 1-yard plunge into the endzone.
Jeremy Collins led the Delta Devils with 56 yards rushing while Julian Stafford paced Valley with four receptions for 43 yards.
