Box Score ITTA BENA -- The Mississippi Valley State volleyball team ended its home portion of its 2013 schedule Tuesday on a high note.

The Devilettes blanked rival Alcorn State, 3-0, at the Harrison HPER Complex in its final game at its home site before its renovation, slated to begin soon.

MVSU (8-16, 2-3 SWAC) defeated the winless Lady Braves 28-26 and 26-24 in the first two sets before closing out the game, 25-11.

Taylor Delaire led Valley with 10 kills while Andrea Lopez chipped in eight kills and 12 digs.

Alcorn fell to 0-20 overall and 0-5 in SWAC competition.

The Devilettes honored its lone senior, Chylla Nault, between the second and third set.
