Box Score ITTA BENA -- The Mississippi Valley State volleyball team suffered a 3-1 defeat Tuesday at the hands of Arkansas-Monticello in a non-conference showdown between the teams at the Harrison HPER Complex.

Taylor Delaire led the Devilettes with a double-double of 11 kills and 10 digs while Andrea Lopez chipped in 10 kills.

Athena Abary paced MVSU with 23 assists.

MVSU won the second set 25-22 but was unable to capitalize in the other three sets throughout the game.

The Devilettes will be on the road at Alcorn State today at 6 p.m.
