Valley routed the Lady Braves 7-0 in the final regular season game to keep the defending SWAC champion's season alive.
MVSU's Josee Primeau could not be stopped, leading the Devilettes with three goals and eight shots. She scored two in the first half and another in the second half.
Meanwhile, Shanesse Spratt, Nykosi Simmons, Kadie Soall and Hailey Beekman each scored a goal for Valley.
The Devilettes attempted 24 shots while limiting Alcorn to just two.
It has not been released yet who the Devilettes will face in the SWAC Tournament, which is slated for Nov. 7-10 at the Houston Amateur Sports Park.
