Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CONWAY, Ark. -- The Central Arkansas baseball team swept Mississippi Valley State by defeating the Delta Devils 19-3 on Wednesday and 7-1 on Thursday.

MVSU (1-9) gave up seven runs in the eighth inning Wednesday and David Lostra (0-2) suffered to the loss. He gave up four hits and six earned runs in three innings of work. Seth Millior and Trey Lacy had two hits apiece for the Delta Devils.

On Thursday, Cheatham's RBI-single accounted for MVSU's lone run as the Bears powered its way to a second straight victory. Kameron Stady (0-2) gave up five hits and three earned runs with four strikeouts for Valley. Cheatham, German Hays and Edward Cox accounted for all three of MVSU's hits.

The Delta Devils will be in Greenville Friday through Sunday when they host South Dakota State at 1 p.m. each day at Legion Field.
