Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Mississippi Valley State women's volleyball team suffered a pair of losses Friday at a tournament hosted by the Jacksonville University. The Devilettes were blanked by Florida Atlantic 3-0 before being dealt a 3-1 loss at the hands of Charleston Southern.

Halee Clark led Valley with six kills, but the Devilettes were defeated in straight-sets: 25-16, 25-19, 25-20. Chylla Nault accounted for five of MVSU's 23 kills while Halle Gayten and Taylor Delaire chipped in four each. 

Athena Abary led the Devilettes with 10 assists.

Clark had another standout performance with 10 kills while Alexandria Garland paced the Devilettes with 12 assists. 

Andrea Lopez and Halle Gayten added five kills apiece for Valley. 

The Devilettes will play Saturday in the final day of the tournament against Jacksonville University and North Florida.
