ITTA BENA, Miss. -- The Mississippi Valley State women's soccer team will be at home Friday hosting rival Jackson State at 7 p.m. at the MVSU Soccer Complex.

It'll mark the second SWAC game of the season for the Devilettes, who fell to Howard University on Sunday, 3-1. It'll also be the second of five consecutive home games for Valley (0-8, 0-1 SWAC), who will be hosting Southern University on Sunday at 1 p.m.

So far this season, junior Nykosi Simmons leads the team with two goals and Rita Gyasi has 20 saves in just two games of action. The Lady Tigers, meanwhile, are 4-5-2 this season and are led by Elexis Rice on three shots on eight shot attempts.
