Devilettes edged by rival JSU

Box Score GREENWOOD, Miss. -- Mississippi Valley State dropped its fourth straight game Saturday following a 63-56 loss to Jackson State at the Leflore County Civic Center. 
Olivia Kennedy led Valley (5-14, 4-4 SWAC) with 15 points while Joncyee Sanders chipped in 11 points, seven steals and five assists. Jasmyne Sanders added 10 points. 

Valley led 56-55 with 1:46 remaining before JSU went on a 7-0 run to seal the victory. 
Ayanna Hardy-Fuller paced JSU (7-11, 5-3 SWAC) with 16 points. 

Valley shot 35.8 percent while the Lady Tigers made 35 percent of their shots. 

MVSU will be back in action Monday when they host Grambling State at 5:30 p.m. at the Leflore County Civic Center.
