Box Score NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Mississippi Valley State had its best defensive outing of the series, but were unable to put any runs on the scoreboard Wednesday against Arkansas as the Razorbacks completed a three-game sweep with a 3-0 victory.Â
The game was played at Dickey-Stephens park in front of a crowd of 8,867.Â
Arkansas took a 1-0 lead in the third inning after Joe Serrano stole home. Then, the Razorbacks added two more runs in the seventh inning using a MVSU error and a sacrifice fly.Â
MVSU's Jonathan Parker fell to 0-4 on the season, but only surrendered one earned run while scattering four hits with three strikeouts in five innings of work on the mound.Â
Terrance Steele led the Delta Devils at the plate, going 2-for-3.Â
The Delta Devils will be at their adopted home Saturday when they host Alabama A&M at 1 p.m. for a doubleheader in Moorhead, Miss. on the campus of Mississippi Delta Community College.Â
