Box Score ITTA BENA -- Central Arkansas scored five goals in the first half and matched that total in the second period as the Bears defeated Mississippi Valley State 10-0 in the Devilettes home opener.
UCA started off hot, scoring its first four goals in the first 15 minutes. MVSU (0-2) had its chances -- the Devilettes attempted 12 shots -- but was unable to get on the scoreboard. But the Devilette players gave a great effort, led by All-SWAC selection Josee Primeau who attempted six shots. Hailey Beekman and Heather Craddock each attempted two shots as well.
MVSU will be be back in action Sunday at Jacksonville State at 1 p.m.
