Box Score JACKSONVILLE, Ala. -- The 2014 season continued on Sunday for the Mississippi Valley State soccer, but unfortunately the Devilettes are still on the search for their first win of the season.
MVSU (0-3) was upended by Jacksonville State, 15-0, in the third of seven consecutive non-conference games for the Devilettes. The Gamecocks scored 12 first half goals before adding three more in the second half.
Valley was able to get off seven shots throughout the game, with Nykosi Simmons accounted for a team-high two. Camilla Gomide had five saves for the Devilettes.
MVSU will be off until Sept. 11 when they travel to Arkansas-Little Rock.
