Box Score LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Arkansas-Little Rock got off to a hot start Thursday en route to a 9-0 win over the Mississippi Valley State women's soccer team.
UALR (7-0) scored five first half goals and added four more in the second half to defeat the Devilettes (0-4) to keep its undefeated record in tact.
MVSU's Nykosi Simmons accounted for three of the team's four shots while Jayme Forcier had one shot on the night. All four of the Devilettes' shots came in the second half. Valley's Carmilla Gomide finished with 13 saves.
UALR had three players to finish with two goals apiece. As a team, they finished with 36 shots including 22 in the second half.
