Devilettes shut out in loss at SE Louisiana

Box Score HAMMOND, La. -- Southeastern Louisiana scored six first half goals Monday on its way to a 9-0 win over the Misssissippi Valley State soccer team.

MVSU (0-6) got off six shots in the game, including three on goal. Junior standout Nykosi Simmons accounted for half of the attempted shots with three, including two on goal, in the loss to the Lady Lions. Heather Craddock, Hailey Beekman, and Mariana Balboa also attempted a shot in the game for the Devilettes, who will play their final non-conference game Friday at Louisiana-Monroe at 4 p.m.

Following the game against La.-Monroe, the Devilettes will play five straight home games beginning Sept. 28 against Howard University.
