Devilettes Unable to Topple Lady Panthers in Texas

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – Mississippi Valley traveled to Prairie View, Texas, to face off against the Lady Panthers of Prairie View A & M University, falling 3-0.

Less than three minutes into the contest, Blair Lane scored an unassisted goal, taking PVAMU up 1-0. In the 38th minute, Alex Fields found Kendall Jackson in scoring position. Jackson's goal increased the Lady Panther lead to 2-0.

The second half was slower in the scoring column. Prairie View's Alexis Mack managed to score at the 74:54 mark.

Mississippi Valley's Rita Gyasi recorded 14 saves, while conceding the three goals, in the 90-minutes of play.
