LORMAN – The Devilettes of Mississippi Valley traveled to Lorman, Mississippi, to take on the Lady Braves of Alcorn State University, clinching a tournament appearance with a 1-0 victory.

Fouls in soccer can cause trouble, unlike in basketball, you don't foul out; however, you can set your opponent up for a scoring opportunity. This proved to be the case in Lorman, when Sarahb Moliner nailed a goal on a free kick from the left side of the goal, 20-yards out (29:39).

The remainder of the contest, remained scoreless. The Lady Braves shot off six shots, with three being on goal. MVSU landed four shots, with two being accurate.
