HUNTSVILLE – (Baseball) The Delta Devils of Mississippi Valley State University clinched their conference series over the Bulldogs of Alabama A & M University with a 4-3 victory in game three.

Mississippi Valley scored all four of their runs in the first inning and defense held strong for the remaining eight innings.

A single by Alex Bravo to center field drove in Arrington Smith and Fredrick Spencer. Jackson Webb singled to right field to score Bravo. A single to the shortstop by Malkas Lipsey scored Kevin Gonzalez.

Alabama A & M was able to score three runs in the bottom of the seventh.

MVSU finished with four runs on eight hits and two errors.

Dustin Stewart was credited with the win for the Delta Devils on the mound and Kevin Gonzalez received the save.
