OXFORD – (Softball) The Devilettes of Mississippi Valley State are accumulating miles as they headed up the road to Oxford, Mississippi, to participate in the University of Mississippi Tournament.

MVSU opened the tournament with the hosting Lady Rebels, dropping the contest 8-0 in five innings. UM scored twice in the first, four in the second and an additional two in the fourth.

The Devilettes finished with one hit and no errors, while Ole Miss tallied eight runs, 10 hits and no errors.

Rebekah Clinton took the loss for Mississippi Valley.
