JACKSON, Miss. – (Softball) Mississippi Valley played the hosting Lady Tigers of Jackson State University to an 11-3 finish.

JSU took an early four-point lead in the first inning. In the top of the third, MVSU scored their three runs for the contest.

The Lady Tigers scored once in the fourth and fifth innings before exploding with five runs in the sixth.

The Devilettes finished with three runs, four hits and one error.

Rebekah Clinton took the loss for Mississippi Valley.
