ITTA BENA, Miss. (Baseball) – Game two of the Mississippi Valley and Alabama A & M contest was delayed on Saturday to a 2:00 pm start and suspended in the second inning, due to rain.

On Sunday morning game two commenced, with the score from day one of the contest prevailing. AAMU claimed a 1-0 victory. The only run of the contest came in the top of the second inning.

The Delta Devils finished with three hits and no errors.

Zac Ueker took the loss for the Delta Devils on the mound.

In game two of Mississippi Valley Sunday afternoon of baseball, the Delta Devils and Bulldogs played another close game.

AAMU was able to secure the win 3-1, to take the series.

The Bulldogs scored once in the top of the second to go ahead 1-0. MVSU scored in the bottom of the fifth to knot the score at one.

Alabama A & M scored once in the sixth and seventh to clinch the win.

Mississippi Valley finished with one run on five hits and five errors.

Kevin Gonzalez received the loss for the Delta Devils on the mound.
